Join my hands on classes and impress your family and friends with perfectly baked, delicious macarons handmade by you!


About the Class
Classes are held in my registered studio kitchen in Flinders Park and run for 3 hours.

Adelaide Bakes is fully registered with the City of Charles Sturt Council and Insured for Public and Product Liability.


This class is suitable for intermediate bakers 

Group Classes - $175 per person (3 hours duration)

- Maximum of 4 participants in each class

- This class is part demo, part hands-on and a lot of fun!

-The making of macarons will be shared among participants, I try to give as much hands-on experience as possible. You will pipe and fill your own macarons in this class.

- Take home with you a recipe booklet filled with recipes to try at home and approx. 15 filled macarons made in class


What you can expect to learn:

  • How to prepare the key ingredients

  • Making an Italian meringue

  • Preparing the batter ( macaronage )

  • Learn to pipe perfect macaron shells

  • Achieve perfect feet every time

  • Getting to know your oven

  • We will make one filling per class, additional filling recipes are included in your recipe booklet

  • Flavours can include chocolate salted caramel, lamington, white chocolate with pop rocks, peanut brittle and more!


Receive a recipe booklet with all recipes we use in class along with additional fillings for you to try at home. There will be plenty of room for you to take notes throughout the class and you can take as many still photographs as you like. At the end of the class, you get to take a selection of macarons home in a box to share with family and friends.

During my classes, you can expect to use the highest quality ingredients including free range eggs, Australian almond meal, Bulla Family dairy and Callebaut couverture chocolate

What do I need to bring?
Just your enthusiasm, everything else is provided for you.

Kitchen safety and food hygiene
Please wear enclosed flat shoes to avoid slipping and in case of any spills. Please also have long hair tied back and remove any unnecessary jewellery.
